Atlanta once dubbed the "capital of the new South" is described by the Atlanta Convention and Visitor’s Bureau as a city with both Southern charm and world class sophistication. It is both a major metropolitan area and a collection of distinct and pleasant neighborhoods, and everywhere there are friendly people.
For this year’s Reunion, our Friday bus tour will visit the Atlanta History Center Museum and Cyclorama. Lunch will be at The Varsity Restaurant, world famous favorite to both locals and visitors since 1928. After lunch the tour continues at the Margaret Mitchell House, where the Atlanta native wrote her Pulitzer Prize winning book, “Gone with the Wind”.
After dinner Friday John will have two Poindexters' family histories to talk about. Saturday includes our annual meeting, social time, and a wonderful buffet Banquet dinner.
