Come to Natural Bridge a few days early. There is so much to do in the area that the only trouble you will have is trying to decide what to see first.
The hotel suggests taking the walking path from the hotel to Natural Bridge State Park, featuring the towering limestone gorge called the Natural Bridge as well as six miles of hiking trails showcasing lush forests, mountain vistas, and cascading waterfalls. Accessing the Natural Bridge requires navigating a stairway of 137 steps. Admission is not included with your Reunion Registration, pay at the trail head.
Spot tigers and giraffes at Virginia Safari Park, and sip local delights at Great Valley Farm Brewery and Winery.
You can also rent a canoe or kayak at Twin River Outfitters. or explore by car a nearby segment of the Blue Ridge Parkway. An hour away is Lynchburg, former home to Captain Joseph Poindexter.
