Poindexter Cemeteries in America

List your cemetery here, contact the webmaster.

There are, of course, many cemeteries where Poindexter and Poindexter descendants are buried. Members are welcome to add information here about cemeteries where they have family or have found ancestors.

  • Bedford and Campbell Counties, several cemeteries in the Bedford County area have bee reserached by Bob and Annie Poindexter of Lynchburg, including the one where Captain Joseph Poindexter is buried. Captain Joseph's line comprises a large number of the PDA membership.

ISLE OF JERSEY. In the Isle of Jersey, St. Saviour is the home parish of the senior or manorial Poingdestre line. Many of our ancestors are buried here, most are no longer marked. In 1998 during our Reunion tour, we were able to look at the Church's cemetery records, but found other stones are now on those graves or there were no markers.
