Tips for Uploading Your Scholarship Essay

from a mobile phone

The account you create to apply for the Scholarship can be accessed from a computer or from your phone, using the same username and password. You can enter information in the Application Form from either device. You may find it easier to write and edit your essay to perfection on a laptop or computer using a full keyboard and a display larger than your phone screen.

You may prefer to save your Essay in PDF format to ensure the formatting stays consistent. If your Word document is finished, it's often a good idea to "Save as PDF" before uploading.

Easiest - use your phone to enter info on the form - but upload the essay from a computer:

  1. While logged into your Scholarship account on your phone, enter text into the Application Form fields, then use the Save and Return Later button at the bottom of the form.
  2. Write and save your essay on a computer.
  3. Log into your Scholarship Application account from that computer.
  4. Continue filling out the form if you have not completed all required fields.
  5. Use the Upload button on the form to add your Essay.
  6. Submit the Application Form.

  • Automatic Sync: If you have an Office 365 subscription, changes you make to a file opened from iCloud Drive will often sync automatically. Without a subscription, you may need to save a new copy to iCloud each time you make major edits.
  • Accessing Later: You can always find your document again by opening the Files app on your iPhone and selecting the iCloud Drive tab.
