March 23, 2026 - Update from the Committee.  Planning for the Washington DC reunion is well underway with many people having already registered to attend.  We are excited to gather in Washington as we honor our Revolutionary War patriot ancestors.

Several social activities are planned throughout the week. A social mixer will be held in the hotel lounge on Wednesday evening. Another mixer, generously sponsored by a cousin, will take place on Friday night in the Poindexter Room. For those interested in history with a twist, a ghost tour is also scheduled for Wednesday evening. On Thursday night, we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Potomac River.

On Saturday, we will visit Mount Vernon. The day will begin with a morning American flag‑raising ceremony, followed by a guided tour of the mansion. We will conclude our visit with a wreath‑laying ceremony at the tomb of George and Martha Washington.

We have negotiated a special room rate of $179.00 per night at the Churchill Hotel. Room occupancy and historic fees have been waived. The easiest way to make a reservation is by using the link on the reunion website. This special rate is available starting Sunday, July 26, for those who wish to arrive early and explore Washington. Sunday, August 1 is the last day or our booking.  If you would like to extend your stay beyond those dates, please contact the hotel’s sales manager directly at VanessaSabagkit@remingtonhotels.com.  The deadline for our discounted block of guest rooms is June 25th.
